Our website address is www.kriya-meditation.com. Financial transactions are managed through Heridian Sarl, a registered limited liability company.
We also work with other therapists and hatha yoga teachers. To facilitate workshops, this site shares necessary information in this regard.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We collect any data provided on contact forms, mail list subscription forms and through the store checkout. None of this information will be knowingly sold to any 3rd party. Some of this information must be shared with partners e.g. our payment processor Stripe or MailChimp, our mailing list manager and of course, by any coaches that deliver training. We strive to only share necessary information in such circumstances.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics

Who we share your data with
We don’t share your date, except where necessary (see above section on Contact Forms and Cookies). We do share your data with our service providers e.g. Stripe or Ecwid in order to facilitate shopping and payments etc.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. It is possible that userids may not be changeable once defined.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
If you have created a login account, you can delete it and the corresponding data at any time. Note that any transactional data e.g. past purchases will not be deleted as per law.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Some data is shared with partner service providers such as Stripe and our coaches.
How we protect your data
If you have purchased any services or subscribed to our mailing list, this data is held by WooCommerce, MailChimp, Stripe and other service providers. We cannot be responsible for any data breaches that service providers may suffer.
What data breach procedures we have in place
This site is hosted at a hosting company and we are dependent on their procedures to limit data breaches.
Photographs
We do take photographs on retreats and training. Acceptance of any of our services, means that you also allow us the right to use any photographs for marketing purposes and online. We will not personally identify participants without first requesting permission in writing. We will consider requests to not show personally identifiable photos, but we reserve the right to use any such photos, in any case.
